This book is a well-constructed, well-designed, highly engaging intellectual product and a very comprehensive reference on phenomenology in a single book. It is systematically structured which makes it readable and gratifying to read. Undeniably, this book is a significant contribution to the corpus of knowledge and the understanding of phenomenology as discipline, and would be welcomed and appreciated by scholars and students of many different field of studies. Certainly, reading this book is such a refreshing experience for me.
This book is really a gift to the scholarly community of Indonesia. It is a masterpiece among communication books in the Indonesian language. The authors, Alex Sobur and Deddy Mulyana, present accessible versions of the various phenomenological ideas put forward by prominent philosophers. I can’t think of a better contribution to the future of Indonesian social science research for its potential impact on how research work can be done. This is truly a gift to the community.

Tapi pernahkah mereka berpikir: ketika tersaji sebagai sebuah penampakan, pengalaman, dan kesadaran. Apakah arti semua itu? Buku ini wajib dibaca, karena sebagaimana sisi lain judulnya, ia mengajak kita selalu mengendapkan sejenak hal-hal terbaru dari aspek ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Kalau tidak, manalah lagi sisa komunikasi interaktif di era ini?
